The Sega Genesis controller is perfect for this game, because the buttons are so close. Turbo is just a slight lean of the thumb.

I tried playing this with a snes controller via emulation and wow.. trying to press 2 buttons at once on a snes controller is awkward, the spacing and how one is either lower or higher.. Genesis has the buttons close and in an even line. Perfect for this game where you are constantly pressing 2 buttons at once "gas and turbo"

This is a great arcade conversion, done really well! especially considering it doesn't do actual scaling but rather quick sprite changes to try and replicate the arcade scaling. The depth remains!

Also to make up for the digital control dpad they gave it a slow lean. Which also works beautiful. The excellent draw distance and signs gives you plenty of notice, though the up hill parts not so much.. anyhow

10/10 rayting right next to Outrun

Nuthin wrong with this game.

I like that the option menu is hidden. I didn't know about it for many years which may have forced me to be a better player as I couldn't make it easier.

Thx
