Score and Hardware checks out - yes.
It seems like Activision pumped these out in a very dark time of their company history - hard to tell, but they tried to be Midway but never came through!

I don't know how Activision approved the release of this game at the time. Everything else they put out had such a high standard of quality. I only found this game appealing right at first, the lasers look and sound cool. But then it immediately became frustrating. If I play it enough to get the hang of it, then it's just nauseatingly repetitive and boring. The scoring doesn't ramp up, I really wonder what happened at Activision with this game.
