If I had to choose, I like Afterburner the most, but G-Loc is better in many ways.

"all landing attempts success, and I was very stingy on point spending for weaponry."

When you die it re ups weapons.. so some deaths were usefull, as I chose not to spend much points on extra missiles. The downside is when you die it takes away some time.

I may have gotten farther had a spent more points on missiles and armor.

Finding the balance for a high score is tricky.
