It's a bit clicky and clacky, but not loud. You can replace the buttons relatively easy if you want and get many others to fit, including Sanwa, so you can get different noise levels and feelings.

8bitdo Arcade Stick. Went with that rather than a Mayflash, but would have been happy with one of those too. I liked the NES-like styling (though I am a Sega guy) and they seem well regarded by a number of retro-Youtubers.
