This game does have an autofire by default, but it's slow firing unless close to the enemy.
Same principle as Centipede except it allows 3 shots per screen instead of 1.
So when close to the enemies the button can be held for rapid, but when far from the enemy it's better to quickly tap manually.
Meaning an autofire controller can still come in handy for this game..
But I used a standard Sega Genesis pad "no auto" ..
And since it's a 2 button game I used the Seagull78 adapter for compatibility.
