The same thing with Lemon Amiga but they have some other interests (I think money incomes, besides enthusiasm for Amiga) and whole story is still alive and solid... Only thing that I don't like so much about their compo is that you can post only screenshot as evidence of your score, and I know for sure there are few people who obviuosly cheat and nobody can prove... But still it is fun playing old Amiga classic games and every month we vote which game we would like to play, that way I played again this gem Car Vup and finaly made some decent score...

Yes, it was a huge work, which is why we decided to stop after 10 years. I never won it, but I did manage to get the best score in one of the games one year. It was Gilligan's Gold :-) There were some really terrific players taking part :-)

And you have abandon it ? It's real a big duty to run competition like that and it takes a lot of your spare time...
I know what's that mean cause' the guy who runed last years Lemon Amiga Games competition can't do it anymore and now one other guy take it over and continue to be admin and lead whole competition.... It's a really serious thing, they are almost all guys from England and they run this compoetition professionaly, every single day they update competition table, all results, even they calculate all scores from 2005 I think and all other things, it's very tricky...

Yeah, played tournaments like that before, thrilling. I used to run a tournament together with two other guys called The Speccy Tour. Ten games for 3 months or so. Hard work, but it was fun. It ran for 10 years 😀

Actually this score I managed to achive during three week Lemon Amiga Games Competition...
Every round last three weeks during whole year and that is time limit to achive your best possible score...
So, I've played constantly for three weeks every day and it pays off, but even so I managed to come just second after some German guy who finished first with some 100K more than my score...
You must learn patterns of enemy movements by heart and there is few more tricks how to make short and long jumps beetween the barriers...
Every round last three weeks during whole year and that is time limit to achive your best possible score...
So, I've played constantly for three weeks every day and it pays off, but even so I managed to come just second after some German guy who finished first with some 100K more than my score...
