Yeah, it's pretty tricky. It's like being back in the 80's again!
Move around the screen with WASD and rotate and fire with the mouse! Good co-ordination needed and not something I am good at!

Alien Attack is an Asteroids-like shooter for the PC. It was released by Alien Jellyfish in 2016. Although I have described it as an Asteroids-type game, it reminds me more of old 80s games like Starship Command on the BBC Micro.
You control a craft that must shoot waves of enemies. You have a twin-stick style setup - one to move around the screen and one to aim and fire your main weapon and your secondary upgrades. I used keyboard for movement and mouse for aiming and firing. Shoot enough of each wave and a boss appears. It's pretty frantic and takes several games to get the hang of - trying to keep safe and aim and fire at the same time is challenging.
You only have one life so any contact and it's game over. The game reports your score for that life. The score from each game accumulates so that you can achieve unlockables.
This run was made on the 18th March 2023. There are no difficulty settings. The score reached was 220 points.
