This is up there with my favorite Defender games, that's for positive.
This hack of Defender II "NES" brings all the Defender action minus the human hostages. You're only goal is to defend yourself against the enemies. Kill em all!
No humans to accidentally kill, so go crazy!
The ground never exploads, so the difficulty pace ramps more slow and evenly. Don't let that fool you out of a challenge, it still gets tough. 💥 👊
Since there are no humans to rescue for end stage bonuses, instead this gives a set bonus per stage which increases by an extra 100 points each wave. So the further you get the larger each end-stage bonus becomes.

Extra notes: Graphically this game has been widely enhanced from the original.
You pilot an armed 🚁 helicopter "circulating dual rotors n' all" across the landscape of Mars.
How it creates lift without air is anyones guess.. perhaps this is actually an earth desert with crators from nuclear testing..
Battle your way through hords of animated creature machines. Some operate helicopters much like yourself.. except... BIGGER.
But it's not the size of the vehicle, it's how you drive.
The farther you get the faster they shoot.
Enemy bullets can all be shot out of the way which is awesome.
Highly recommend video game.
