Ahh indeed.

My first lvlup score was actually Choplifter 7800, I think it may have been you to tell me to post it here. But that was all I posted, some months went by and I ended up getting a 5200 and Missile Command and rocking at it, and then you reminded me about lvlupscore. After I posted Missile Command is when I started posting regularly. :) πŸ‘

Yep. It takes getting use to. As where 7800 feels on point right off the bat.

Totally agree, the 5200 one feels kind of awful I thought.

I feel now that I have mastered Mario 7800, reaching its difficulty ceiling.. The next venture would be the Oyama endurance challenge. Remaining focused 😌 complete mario zen. The next time I play Mario 7800, this will be the goal.

The Nintendo masterpiece classic.

Extra Information::
The 5200 version actually offers the most challenge, some peeps on the 5200 fb page even poke fun at the 7800 "& even NES for that matter" for missing certain elements. That those aren't truly worthy of the arcade.

But imo the snappy feel of the more advanced 7800 simply outdoes the sluggish 5200. 7800 may have too much traction, inaccurate enemy counts, a bonus round timer that doesn't decrease per stage, less special effects, turtles that look like birds without a shell to leave.. and rough sound.. but I overlook all of that for snappy awesome gameplay. Sure the 5200 really gets the most it can out of the system as where the 7800 could have been better.. but I still say 7800 IS the better game because speed and responsiveness are more important. The 5200 you have to be extremely exact and find the pace of the system, the more enemies on screen the slower it gets.. as where 7800 handles without struggle, no enemy goes un-flipped!
