Overtaker + Brands Hatch is a compilation tape of two simple racing games for the Jupiter Ace released by Micromega in collaboration with Jupiter Cantab in 1983.
In Brands Hatch, you have to get your race car around several laps of the iconic British racing circuit. The on-screen layout does resemble the actual Brands Hatch track. Once you start the game, you only have two keys to turn your car left and right to negotiate the track and the cars on it - which do not move. The game is basically an obstacle course. Colliding with the track walls or a car will not cause you any problems, but it will stop your car moving, using up some of your time. After the laps are completed, your time in seconds is displayed - lower is better.
This run was made using the Pantheon Emulator. The date of play was the 13th December 2023 and the time was 82.9 seconds.
