I tried really hard to beat the top times, but I don't think it's actually possible. At best I had my nose in Albi on the finish line with 1:14, but the timer still stopped later on 1:15.
It's silly to play a game named Pitstop without having pitstops with these 3 lap races. Especially as the pitstops are the only interesting part of the game while the driving kinda sucks.

well, that may be the only game with this much competitors and this "'easy" to max-out. I'm not able to get the minimum time on some tracks. I just gave up after between 12 and 20 tries for each because my eyes were burning watching the top of the screen intensively.

yep, everybody plays C64 and Amiga in PAL because these are european computers. so it's the default.

Everybody's been playing this in PAL mode, so for example Monaco's 2:03 actually takes 2:28 in real time. In NTSC mode the timing is correct, but of course the gameplay is faster and thus harder. I didn't want to dick around with single races so I chose mini-circuit which randomly chooses 3 out of the 6 races .
