That might be what I'm doing wrong, I have to hit a key to pick stuff up??????

That is indeed weird in a game like this :-)

Amiga Chuckie Egg 2 has weird controls, you have to redefine keys (push R on menu) and there you can change the key with which to get objects. Would have been easier to just hit objects and collect those that way. C64-version is tolerable, it looks like a Spectrum-port. And at least much better than 16-bit versions :-)

Think its a great game on most platforms, but this Amiga version is a tad to fast if you ask me :-(

I nver seem to be able to remember how to pick up the first object in Chuckie Egg 2, so never play it much. Have only tried the Spectrum version though,

Well played :-) Isn't it much worse than 8-bit conversions? And sequel Chuckie Egg 2 is one of the most frustrating games on both Amiga and Atari ST.
