Play the game in 1 player mode with default settings. Nemesis is of course the PAL name for Gradius. Although it looks the same, there are some differences between both releases. The PAL version should include the 'Bone' stage and also has a bigger score font. |

thanks! :) Yes, Mayday! version seems best; it fixes bugs like the audio cutting out on death.

Great score :-) Usually Nostalgia-releases are best, but apparently they haven't cracked this game. So this Mayday-release might be best, although bugged...

I had the same issue at around 280K. So it seems to be a random bug.
Next time I fire this one up, I'll try to find a correct working file.

I broke the game! at 1.34 million points it bugged and spaceship sprite vanished :|
