You can always add separate clips of your hardware as additional evidence. Upload them onto a video hosting site other than YouTube, if you must. Many here even put photos of the hardware as additional evidence. The thing is, the "trust me, bro" as you recommended has been the adopted philosophy before, and everyone's gotten burned from it. I believe several multi-million dollar lawsuits are currently on-going (including against Karl Jobst and the now-deceased Apollo Legend) because of the "Trust me, bro" and "So and so will vouch for me" philosophies by gamers. Not sure that's a route we want to go down. I've seen your shows and they're awesome ... just need a little bit more evidence to prevent others (not you) from doing shady things and thinking they'll get away with it because the process is lax.

Thanks for the nice words.
As far as showing the real hardware, well that's where the problem lies as I create my videos directly for youtube and they will all look odd if I start them off showing a pic or footage of them before the actual game video, infact I feel they would look off and I would be asked whats the point showing them and I reply "because of the scoring websites I enbed my vidos to".
Those that know me or my channel know I only use real hardware and will vouch for me, anyone else will just have to trust me or simply not vote but I just cannot justify showing clips at the start of my videos,...even though I did it once for Target Renegade 1 Million points run.
Here's a vid of me showing how to record games onto DVD just for a bit of evidence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qV0NnJlReX8

Watched the video. Excellent score. What a dull end. But if you don't know how to do the moves it can be very frustrating getting there all the way. I know you're playing this on a real Amiga, but I guess some voters will request some more proof of it ;)
