I had a very similar thing going as a kid, and some things remain.
I had to even everything out. Other boys asked: "wHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING??"
For example, even when playing in a football team in a league, I would count every time I kicked the ball. I'm a leftie, so every time I picked the ball up for a throw in, or a free kick, I'd touch the ball as many times as needed on the other foot to even it out !

Yes, your head is unwell.
So is everybody else's ;)
As long as you're peaceful, it's cool.
At least you have a system, eh?
Nice one, dude.

Glad you asked, man. Welcome to my OCD :). I'm playing every game I vote (yes) on, if I own them, or can emulate them. A few days ago I was aiming for a place in the scoreboard that correlate with my place (that day) in the "Top voters (of the week) hall of fame". If I was at first place on that board, I was aiming for the first place in the game I was to vote yes on. Since this site is updated, so is my OCD (or gamification of this site, if you will). Same with the vote. Before I vote yes, I have a go with the game. The place in the scoreboard I'm aiming at today is the correlating place in the "Active Systems by Player Count"-board (there you can find your rating in a scoreboard system by system), so if I'm having a go on a Genesis game that you've played and I voted for (Super Hang-On), I'm going for fourth place on that board since that's my correlating place in the overall ratings for the Genesis system. I'm looking at what I'm writing here. I'm sick in the head, aint I? :)

Are you scanning the new scores, then playing them? What's your sequence?

I've changed my mind.
You have to play at least 500 Atari 2600 games before you move on.
Ok, soldier?

I rather not play Atari 2600 at all, but, as you know, I have this OCD playing what everybody else is playing. Not very busy for the moment, due to struggle with set goals on the scoreboard for Atari 2600-games. Not my cup of tea :)
