This is the footbag sub-game of California Games on the Atari Lynx. It is being played using the Antstream online emulation service.
California Games was released by Epyx, with the Atari Lynx version being released in 1989. This was the game supplied free with many of the systems, so it is quite common. The game originally featured six events, but the Lynx version only has four of them.
In the Footbag event, you have to keep a small bean bag off the floor. Points are awarded for each kick, header, etc and you can pull off some moves for extra points such as spinning around or trying to hit the seagull that flies overhead. The game is controlled by a timer, so you can drop the bag as many times as you like, but you are not scoring or generating combos when you do so.
