Mr Doo is an arcade game for the Acorn Archimedes. Information on this title is not completely clear, but it appears it was written by Stephen Kett and released by Image Systems in 1992. The most common version available is an updated version from Archimedes World magazine in 1994 with adjustments by Graham Stanley and K. Swinton (this is possibly Kevin Swinton).

Based on the 1982 classic arcade game, Mr Do!, this version is more of a puzzle arcade game than an all out action title. You control Mr Doo, who has to collect all the cherries on each screen to move on to the next. A number of flames are opponents that are deadly to the touch. They can be defeated by crushing them with apples or using a limited supply of five fireballs - but once used up, you don't get more of these so use them with care. There is also a time limit, so thinking time is limited for some of the trickier layouts.

Each screen is effectively a puzzle, where you need to work out the best way of clearing it without getting killed - it's more of a Boulderdash or Repton type game with a Mr Do! skin on it than a true version of the arcade classic.

Graphics and sound are decent enough and the game is entertaining if you like puzzle arcade games, but perhaps disappointing if you were expecting the full Mr Do! experience.

This run was made on the 19th June 2026 using the Arculator emulator on PC as an A3010. There are no level selections and the final score was 630 points.
