General Rules: Difficulty switches can be in any position at any time.
No use of trainers, cheats, saved game files, auto-fire (when not default present in-game), emulator save states, or other emulator advantages. No use of code modifications that give the player an advantage over other players. No continues.
It is discouraged and may lead to voters not accepting your score to:
- excessively point farm
- use glitches or other game exploits
Specific Rules: ∙ Fx: ANY setting
∙ Speed: ANY setting
∙ Rhythm: ANY setting
∙ Envelope: ANY setting
∙ Enemies are worth 3 points each
Optional: Player may choose to select "Lead 4K" from the options menu, or play Lead 16K, which is the default variation.

Left difficulty switch was intended to function as a smart bomb safety function to prevent inadvertent smart bomb activation, however, it does not seem to have any effect, and can therefore be in any position at any time.

Right difficulty switch setting has no effect in this title, and can therefore be in any position at any time.

Thanks! And yes! I just bought a few more homebrews off of Atariage. Great that hobbyist programming like that is still going strong.
